Looking for a university that can offer research opportunities, the resources of a medical school on campus, and solid support for their pre-professional students? Then consider SIU for your undergraduate degree.
SIU's pre-health professional programs will help you meet your desired career goals.
The Health Professions Office offers specialized guidance for students seeking careers in:
Learn About Your Area of Interest
Our program descriptions can help you learn the basics about the various health professions, but there is no substitute for direct interaction with a practitioner. We encourage all pre-health students to learn as much as they can about the profession they are preparing for. Read articles and books on the profession, and consider shadowing or interviewing a professional in your area of interest.
Use the Resources of the Health Professions Office
